TARGET
Professionals and students interested in expanding their photographic skills through observing and capturing Rio’s landscapes.
OBJECTIVE
To capture the atmosphere of the astonishing City of Rio de Janeiro through the lenses of your camera; to photograph and record some of the main icons of the city; to develop a sensitive eye inspired by the natural beauty and built environment of Rio.
FACULTY
Ana Limp
Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1976, Ana Limp majored in journalism at UFRJ where she fell in love with photography. With experience in advertising and journalism, she worked at the agency Foto In Cena, the digital treatment area of the journal O Globo, and as part of the communications team at the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. As a photo-reporter she worked at the World Health Organization and took part in the production of international documentaries. Her expertise is digital image treatment as well as studio photography for products, catalogs, and portraits.

Program Overview
Day 01:
Photography theory and image composition.
Day 02:
Photo tour: Urca neighborhood / Visit to Ateliê da Imagem.
Day 03:
Exhibiton of students' work at IED-Rio; sharing and evaluating of results and process.
